Tasmania is a beautiful place and there is so much to explore and enjoy.

With the occasional ramblings when I have a point of view on a matter

Motor Cycling Against Cancer 2013

This coming Saturday I am heading off of a great ride, which is apart of the Motor Cycling Against Cancer. The ride is over 7 days and circumnavigating the state, averaging 300km per day on dirt roads (as much as possible) through some of Tasmania’s pristine forests.

Motor cycling Against Cancer is raising money for the cancer council of Tasmania as well as Cancer Council Australia with motor Cycling Against Cancer being held over 8 weeks right around Australia.

Here is the Tiger in its current form, have spent a bit on accessories over the past twelve months, manly to help with the ergonomics of the bike to make it a better fit for me, as you would do to any new bike.
So far I have done nearly 9000k’s over the past year with a couple of ADV trips as well. I met up with a group of guys on ‘Tasmanian Riders Hub on ADV Riders forum and they talked me into coming along for a trip up to Weldbourgh Pub. I didn’t originally buy the bike to do ADV riding it was main job was to be a commuter to work and ride around on the weekend.
Oh well thats buggered that I’m now hooked on ADV riding and can’t get enough
